We get 2023 rolling with a sizable platform upgrade.
Following the significant brand update in October 2022, we’ve worked intensely on various cumulative updates and functional enhancements. These site-wide advancements offer greater accessibility and usability to customers and voice actors.
Some improvements will be more noticeable than others, but we’re confident everyone will benefit from the changes.
Overview
- Navigation:
- Rebuilt site structure and header exploration
- site-wide page redesign and content updates
- demo play bar now accessible on every page
- Search updates:
- significant speed and performance optimizations
- UI revisions to advanced filter selections to improve the usability
- graphical enhancements to search results.
- switch between grid or list view (session preference saved)
- For voice actors:
- Major redesign of the profile management interface for voice actors
- Voice actors can better monitor appraisals (demo likes) given and received from peers.
- performance improvements and more accurate demo feedback
- API v2:
- Voquent API now supports embeddable demos; demos can be embedded on web pages, blogs, external sites etc. (Beta coming soon)
Some of these updates are pretty subtle, while others represent a substantial visual advancement on the last version.
