We’re the fastest-growing global voice over casting platform. But why do professional voices love us, and how can you join?

The Voquent platform is designed to make everything easierfor everyone!

Our network of producers and casting agents use Voquent’s powerful search tools to shortlist voices for tens of thousands of roles in any accent or language. Everything from commercials and eLearning to video game characters and audiobooks.

There’s never been an easier way to get cast for lucrative voice acting and narrator opportunities.

The Main Takeaways (TL;DR)

  • No Subscription Fees – Voquent is 100% free for talent
  • No Mandatory Home Studio Requirements – you don’t need to drop thousands on equipment to get started (but you will need a local studio)
  • We Support 1700+ Dialects and Accents – we want as many authentic voices from around the world to join us
  • We Welcome Union and Non-Union Talent alike – we don’t draw lines with voices’ decisions for representation
  • Bring your Exclusive Agent – Just add your agent’s contact details instead of your own. Easy!
  • Professional Quality Audio Required – to maintain a high standard of quality, you will need professionally recorded audio Demo Samples
  • Dedicated Project Management – we manage every project to ensure talent is treated and paid fairly

Why Voquent is Worth It

Voquent gives you a fresh way to be discovered for your talents, whether you are an actor, broadcaster, narrator, or streamer. If you have a skillset that relies on your voice, we likely have a space for you!

Unlike many casting platforms charging monthly subscriptions, we’re 100% free. Yep, it doesn’t cost a penny to join. Voice over can be tough to get started in, so we aim to breakdown the barriers to entry and make it easier than ever for voices to get started on Voquent.

However, there are some things you need to do. Spending time on your profile is essential, uploading your portfolio of Voice Demos is important to your success on this platform. The more quality content you have, the more you will show up in search results and, in turn, the more jobs you will land!

Remember, our focus is on search. There is no audition culture.

Every voice needs to prepare their voice over material as individual Samples – each in one distinct style and tone. Each Demo is indexed so users can search for the vocal sound in their head.

Putting your best content on your profile, tagged to match its characteristics is the name of the game on Voquent. It’s far easier than applying for hundreds of auditions.

How do I get work on Voquent?

The more varied your portfolio of Voice Demos, the more likely you are to be shortlisted.

To pass moderation (yep, we quality check every Demo before making it live!) you will need high-quality audio – professionally recorded and edited. If you already have voice or narration reels, cut them into separate Samples. You can also use recordings from past client projects.

Do I need a home recording studio for Voquent?

Nope. We recognise that many actors and performers don’t do voice over full time and don’t have a home studio. Whilst it’s great if you have one, you don’t need one.

If you don’t have a home studio, identify an affordable local studio so our team can book you quickly if you get picked for a job.

If you do fancy building a home studio, here is a quickfire shopping list:

What is the pay?

That depends on the project type and where it is published.

We always pay fair industry rates and will contact you or your agent with the job details. It’s entirely up to you whether you accept the job offer.
