Time is Ticking; Win More Voiceover Jobs with Immediate Notifications.
Voice acting is hugely competitive; securing the best roles isn’t just about your performance. The speed of your response is vital.
By responding quickly, you will enhance the rate you land jobs and propel your voice-over career to new heights.
But how can you respond quickly if you don’t get the message? Unfortunately, many miss out on projects due to incomplete or outdated contact information in their Voquent profile.
We’ve made some recent changes to prevent this in future, but we’re urging everyone, including you, to check that your contact information is correct.
Never miss an opportunity again – and secure your account in the process!
In a world… where data protection and account security are becoming more prominent, we’ve introduced two-step verification to keep your Voquent account safe and secure.
Two-step verification is where two different requirements must be completed to access your account, significantly enhancing the security of your valuable assets.
A password and phone number are required to set up two-step verification, allowing us to send you a unique code when logging in to your account.
Why have we introduced two-step verification?
Passwords can be obtained via phishing emails and messages, data breaches, social manipulation, reused passwords, physical theft, and even simple guessing.
By implementing two-step verification, you’ll reinforce your online security by requiring something known (a password) and something you have (your phone).
This additional layer of protection makes it considerably more challenging for attackers to gain unauthorised access to your Voquent account.
How to Set Up Two-Step Verification
Login and go to your Voquent profile picture in the top right corner of the screen.
Select ‘Account and Settings’ from the dropdown menu.
Then, click ‘Security & Password’ from the ‘My Account’ tab on the left side of your screen.
Click the blue ‘Enable two-step verification’ link.
Add your mobile number (including your area code) and select the ‘Send Code’ button.
You should have now received a 6-digit code to your phone via SMS.
Type the code you received into the two-step verification window and select the ‘Verify’ button.
You will then see confirmation that the two-step verification on your profile has been successfully set up.
Using Two-Step Verification
Now that Two-step verification is active on my Voquent account, how will it change logging in?
Once you have typed in your email address and password, you will be sent a unique 6-digit code to your phone each time you sign in.
Apply this code as the second step of your verification; voila, you’ve accessed your account more securely than ever!
Never miss out again. Securely providing your phone number helps you because we can notify you about urgent castings by text. Don’t worry; we will never share your contact information. Some of the numbers in our database will have been automatically supplied with an area code prefix (+44 etc.). Please check that your phone number and contact information are accurate.
As the digital landscape evolves, incorporating two-factor verification into your security practices is essential in safeguarding your personal information.
Implementing two-factor verification on your Voquent profile will significantly improve your account security and help to protect you from a range of common threats possible with password-only verification.
