Sonic Colors Ultimate Voice Actors

Sonic the Hedgehog is the game’s main protagonist who can run faster than the speed of sound. His reflexes are lightning-fast, and he can roll up into an impenetrable ball to attack his enemies.

Reputedly, Sonic is the world’s champion of peace and has saved the world successfully countless times. His attitude is cocky, his demeanour is easy-going, and his temper is short, but that doesn’t stop his strong sense of justice, love, and compassion. He also loves chilli dogs! 

His Sonic Colors Ultimate voice actor comes from Roger Craig Smith – a prolific professional. Roger Craig Smith has a long history voicing the character, and the fans recognise his contributions. There was a debacle regarding his role as the classic blue hedgehog; however, after much fan outcry – he is still the signature voice of Sonic.

Smith is also known for various other famous gaming roles; most notably among them are; Ezio Auditore da Firenze in Assassin’s Creed II, Chris Redfield in Resident Evil and Mirage in Apex Legends.

Miles Power, better known as “Tails,” is a two-tailed fox with a kind and gentle attitude. His twin tails are a unique trait and a source of bullying in his youth. However, when he met Sonic, all that changed.

Tails became inspired to be as cool as Sonic after seeing how fast Sonic could run. He started following Sonic on all of his adventures and became his sidekick and best friend. His superpower is using his tails for flying by rotating them to imitate the rotors of a helicopter.

Kate Higgins, the Sonic Colors Ultimate voice actor for Tails, is also a musician with a degree from Auburn University. She studied piano and released her first jazz album in 2002. Even though she stopped giving Tails his voice in 2013, she returned to voice this character for the Sonic Colors Ultimate.

Orbot is a robot crafted by Dr. Eggman. His primary job is to assist the doctor in whichever scheme he makes to dominate the world. Orbot is the one that makes sure all plans are carried out accordingly while staying loyal to the doctor, despite not liking him very much.

As a character, Orbot is sarcastic, stern, and generally displeased. There is a comedic element that comes alongside this attitude as he takes each ridiculous moment seriously.

Orbot is voiced by Kirk Thorton, who previously lent his abilities to another Sonic the Hedgehog character – Shadow. Both of these characters have fairly intense attitudes, so it makes sense that he was brought on board for this new character in the Sonic universe.

Cubot, like Orbot, is another robot that Dr. Eggman built. Cubot assists Dr. Eggman in his plans to dominate the world while performing different duties for the doctor alongside his robot-partner, Orbot.

Cubot is lazy and dim-witted, and he has a voice chip that allows him to randomly switch between personalities and accents. As a result, he is one of the more ridiculous characters to be added to this game. Although, it gives his Sonic Colors Ultimate voice actor the opportunity to get creative with the role and change their performance up on the fly.

His voice comes from Wally Wingert, an American singer, actor, and voice actor who gives Cubot his signature sound.

Dr. Eggman is the main antagonist in Sonic Colors Ultimate and perhaps the entire Sonic franchise. He is a scientist, cunning and evil, with a plan to dominate the world. Even though the doctor always manages to escape imprisonment at the last moment and remains a recurring threat to the world, all his plans are thwarted by the game’s protagonist, Sonic, and his close friends.

The doctor’s main plan is to build an army of robots by transforming animals and using these robots for world domination. Naturally, Sonic and his close friends make sure that each of these plans fails.

Mike Pollock’s voice for Dr. Eggman is probably the most popular in the whole Sonic franchise. His performances are beloved by fans, and even Sega itself agreed that Pollock is the best man for the job, which is supported by the fact that he hasn’t been replaced since 2010.
