Offering this service will often involve a third party to fulfil regulations. To be PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliant, your business must run this IVR payment service within the PCI rules. PCI compliance includes encrypting the caller’s payment information so it’s not accessible to your company. What is outbound IVR?

Just like IVR is the process of an automated voice navigating the customer to a business, outbound IVR is the same process in reverse. Companies can benefit from using outbound IVR for marketing, prospecting, and updating clients or customers.
