Classic FM is the UK’s largest national commercial radio station. Around 6 million people tune in weekly. At the Sony Radio Awards in 1999 and 2000, the station won “Gold” for “Station Sound”. Greg was the primary voice of Classic FM at that time for several years.
He’s station-imaged/branded for radio networks like Virgin in places such as Bangkok, Koh Samui and, in Australia, Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane. He was station imaging voice for London’s LBC 97.3 FM talk/current affairs and political network – which was awarded UK Station of the year at the annual Arqiva Awards in 2013 – for 5 years.
Greg’s been involved in many intricate (and revolutionary) technological voice-recognition projects worldwide for the likes of Microsoft, IBM and Hewlett Packard, some of which were forerunners for the likes of Satellite Navigation, Siri and other voice-prompt/recognition softwares today.
He’s currently the official promo-voice for five of the FOX Networks’ Movie related Channels throughout the Middle East, as well as being station continuity announcer for one of Africa’s largest television networks – Kenya and Uganda’s “NTV Network”.
During 2009 and 2010, Greg narrated three critically acclaimed television documentary series for Singapore Television – “Dining with Death” & “Flavours for Life”.
In 2011, he voiced the part of the narrator and several character voices (in English) for a 125 page narrative based on the classic 12th Century “Song of Roland” – the oldest surviving major work in French literature – which has been released as an AudioBook.
Greg spent 2014 in Dubai, establishing and working with a new client-base, voicing for the likes of MacDonald’s, Porsche, Coca-Cola, Sony, Kellogg’s, Toyota and Samsung to name a few.
Relocating back to the UK in March 2016, he has added many European clients to his portfolio.
Currently located in Bristol, Greg voices for all clients, in all countries at all hours from his bespoke fully pro-studio solo and via ipDTL/ISDN, SessionLink, Source-Connect and Skype online protocols…
