Voquent’s New Groundbreaking Quote Function Is Transforming the Voiceover Industry - Voquent

Listen to this article here:

Sourcing professional voiceover talent or localisation services no longer needs to feel slow or overly complicated.

With Voquent’s completely reimagined quote function, the process is now faster, clearer, and more seamless than ever.

In just two straightforward steps, you can secure a precise quote, tailored talent, and a callback or email response – all without obligation, and entirely free. This comprehensive guide walks you through how to make the most of this new function. Whether you’re searching for voiceover and dubbing services or exploring our wider localisation services, we’ve got it covered.

If you have picked talent from our casting search engine and favourited them, you will see them immediately before heading into our first step.

Step One – Choose your Project Type

The second screen you’ll see presents two simple pathways:

  1. Voiceover & Dubbing – ideal if you’re looking for professional voices for films, branded contentadvertisements, eLearning, games, or any other production.
  2. Localisation & Other Services – for subtitling, closed captions, audio description (AD), video translations and document translations.

Let’s break down how each option works.

Voiceover & Dubbing

If you’re searching for voiceover and dubbing services:

  1. Select the project type – (e.g. film production, corporate video, gaming, etc.)
  2. Specify the usage – tell us how the recording will be accessed or distributed.
  3. Set language requirements – choose source and target language(s) and indicate the number of speakers needed.
  4. Fine tune the voice profile – narrow down by location, gender, and age range for an exact match.

Localisation & Other Services

Depending on the service, you’ll be asked for slightly different project information:

  • Video Subtitling & Closed Captions
    • Indicate whether you need subtitles (for dialogue) or closed captions (for deaf/hard of hearing).
    • Provide source and target language(s), and either the duration of a single video or the total length of multiple files.
  • Audio Descriptions (AD)
    • Let us know how many files you’ll supply and their total length. No language details required.
  • Video Translation
    • Provide both source and target language(s), alongside the number and length of the videos.
  • Document Translation
    • Share the source and target language(s).
    • Tell us whether you need general or specialist expertise.
    • Let us know how many documents and/files are being supplied, as well as the total combined wordcount.

Each option then flows into the same next step.

Step Two – Select your Brief & Details

No matter which service you choose, the second stage is where you can add the finishing touches:

  • Project brief – Here, you can let us know specifically what it is you need. Include notes on script length, tone, styles, deadlines, or any other specifics.
  • File Uploads – Attach supporting materials, from draft/finalised scripts to video files, to help us better understand your project and get an even faster quote.
  • (Just for Voiceovers & Dubbing) Talent Selection – choose between rapid matching with pre-recorded demos and samples, or a more bespoke process with custom auditions (with both public and private options available.)
  • Budget & Timescale Options – Either set a budget or request tailored advice from our specialist finance team. You’ll also let us know whether there is a scheduled or desired completion/delivery date.
  • About You – Provide your name, company and role (optional), and preferred contact details.
  • Response Preferences – Select whether you’d like us to follow up by email or by phone and we shall get back to you as soon as possible.

Fast, Transparent and Stress-free

Once submitted, you’ll receive a clear and transparent quote with no hidden costs – the price you see is the price you’ll pay. With Voquent’s streamlined quote function, casting professional voiceover talent or arranging localisation services has simply never been easier.

Ready to get started?

Whether you need a single voice for a short promotional video, a myriad of voices for a film, or a full localisation package across multiple markets, Voquent’s new quote tool makes the process faster and more accessible than ever.

Two steps, a perfect delivery and a seamless execution.
